It's almost lunchtime! Rumbly in my Tummy!

Let's have lunch!  It's nearing lunchtime and my tummy is thinking to itself, "Whatcha going to give me?"... "Why, it will be those yummy leftovers, Tummy," she said.

Yesterday I enjoyed a lovely lil friendship lunch....kind of a taste testing lunch....with a long-time, cooking-loving friend.  Sharon, said friend, brought scrumptious tuna salad (the kind you'd get in a well established mom-and-pop diner...delish!), killer pasta salad, and over-the-top scrumptious red pepper dip (to. die. for.)....all neatly packed in lil clear plastic, petite, portioned-size containers with lids.  I made whole grain focaccia bread with herbs and cheese alongside olive oil and more herbs for dipping, spinach-and-oranges salad in clear little bowls (so you could see all the color!), and Sangria.  I served it on cute little black and white paper plates.  We sipped our Sangria from tall, clear glasses with black and white striped paper straws.  Ah, yes, it was a feast of minis.  What a fun way to enjoy several foods at one sitting.

Today, as I substitute in an office (yep...I have full permission to be on my iPad), I'm writing this first little blog about food.  My second blog post will be about food, too!  And....my third.....and now you get the picture.

If you like yummy food made from whole ingredients, follow along as I document what's going on the table at our house.  I hope you will.
